Creating a Brand Image for the Mio
Developing an epicurean design
At Clairoux Real Estate development, developing a project goes well beyond designing space. Our design team’s specialty is designing concepts that enable interior design and neighbourhood life to co-exist harmoniously in a unique lifestyle. This approach creates a strong brand image for each project we work on.
The Mio from Vivenda project is a good example. Life in Little Italy, with all its restaurants and the Jean-Talon market just a stone’s throw away, set the tone for the concept. The design and layout of the Mio will attract foodies; every detail is oriented around their lifestyle.
In collaboration with A2 Architecture, the plans have been refined to maximize storage, open up the space and let in more light. The kitchen is the centre of the living space. With clean lines and a mix of materials, such the lustrous finishes and wood, European-inspired kitchens are a playground for budding chefs. Caesarstone quartz countertops are offered as work surfaces. Four design colours are available to buyers and are centred on the theme of cooking, herbs and spices: anise, basil, fennel and oregano. Each is inspired by a dish and the sense of well-being that comes with it. Thanks to Mirage flooring and the cabinet work of the kitchen islands, wood plays a central role in the colour scheme and diffusion of light. The bathrooms are quiet retreats with neutral tones and stone effects from Carreaux Métro ceramics.
The common spaces are inspired by terrace cafés in Italy. Ceramics in the entry bring the trattoria to mind and make a connection with the condo’s exterior. Corridors with Interface carpets evoke the beauty of fashionable, refined fabrics like tweed.
The Mio: Experience your neighbourhood
Located on Saint-Urbain Street, at the doorstep of Little Italy, the Mio has 27 units with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. More than half have a mezzanine and a large terrace where residents can grow their own urban gardens. The project attracts single persons, couples and young families wishing to settle in the neighbourhood.
Mio means “mine” in Italian. This was Vivenda’s guiding idea for the project. Clairoux Real Estate development has made their mark on Mio, developing a one-of-a-kind product.
