Guided by a team of experienced designers
The value of houses is skyrocketing in Montreal
Homes on the island of Montreal are becoming more and more expensive, and their value keeps rising, year after year. Given the market’s rising aggressiveness, some Montrealers are discouraged at the thought of selling their home to purchase another one. That’s why they turn to renovation.
Well adapted homes
Some homes need to be adapted to meet the needs of growing families, or simply to keep up with changing needs over time. This was the case for a home in Ville Lasalle where we made over the interior design and layout. The young boy had grown into a young man, and the property was in need of an update. The teenager’s room was relocated in the basement and the parents treated themselves to greater intimacy upstairs. The basement is now all his to enjoy for work, play and rest.
Needs are ever changing. More and more people are able to work from home, or to go out on their own and have home offices. This reality translates into evolving needs in terms of interior layout. By seeking the advice of the Clairoux team, the family has made sure that their new home is fully optimized and adapted to their needs.
A modern design
For the Lasalle home renovation project, we were mandated to open up the space and to transform the small rooms into large gathering spaces that make you feel good and offer various possibilities. The family loves how they are now able to have several couples over for dinner without feeling confined by all the divisions. We are especially proud of the colour and material choices that give an aesthetically appealing, modern feel. There is no question that this facelift has worked wonders in this Lasalle home.
Our team puts great focus on using natural light and highlighting spatial perspective. The brightness makes the rooms feel larger, and brings out the happiness in those who live there. To enhance the living experience, we performed a careful analysis of the residents’ habits in order to heighten their quality of life in the space. For this project, the Clairoux team, headed by Frédric Clairoux, guided the client, making project plans and finding solutions to various issues in order to deliver a result that went beyond the client’s expectations. The project brought forth an engineering challenge when it came time to create the open spaces. The team decided to install wooden beams to knock down the divisions. What a great decision!
No matter the size of your project, Clairoux is the ideal partner to make your projects come to life. You deserve what’s best, especially when it comes to designing your living environment.
